| Comments: | Long beach triathlon is a nice and fun race in downtown Marina Long Beach. The race is mainly fast and ideal for the novice and intermediate triathletes. A truly friendly course! Scott Tinley’s Adventures is a 3 day event for all multi sport athletes. It takes place at the Lopez Lake Recreation Area in the San Louis Obispo County. With both On-Road and Off-Road triathlons, mountain bike courses and kid’s triathlon, this is a family fun weekend guaranteed! |

| Suggested Stay: | In Los Angeles, take possession of you rental car or rental RV then drive to Long beach. After your race, stay a couple of days in the area and visit the famous L.A. attractions and surrounding. It is now the time for you to take the road along the coast where you can stop at any of the great hotels on the way we have selected for you, or enjoy the comfort of your R.V. Lopez Lake is just miles outside of San Louis Obispo, a city at mid distance between L.A. and San Francisco. The Recreation Area is surrounded by hills making this location a great place for all outdoor activities! You will find an on-site camping and San Louis Obispo has many hotels, restaurants and shops to accommodate you. | |
